Susannah Dalton

Screenwriter/Playwright/Doodler

Susannah began producing independent theater and puppetry when she first moved to NYC back in 2008. The visual storytelling skills she learned in producing puppetry proved fruitful in her studies at The Vancouver Film School, where she took a hiatus from NYC to major in writing for film and television.

Since returning to New York she has continued her production work while writing for the Ecuadorian children’s show, “Periquetes.” Her most recent play, a re-telling of Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant” was the recipient of Queens Counsel on the Arts New Works Grant and her drag version of "The Emperor's New Clothes" is the recipient of New York State Council on the Arts 2023 Artist Support Grant.

In recent years Susannah has taken up cartooning and animation with her quirky artwork defining the aesthetic of PinProductions latest work.
